A Community of Practice (CoP) is a network of individuals with common interests who get together and explore ways of working together to identify common solutions and share good practice and ideas.
What are the benefits?
The benefits of an online CoPs lie in providing an environment that connects people to other people across geographical areas and time to enable them to exchange information and knowledge.
CoPs can:
-
encourage the development and sharing of new ideas and strategies
-
support co problem-solving across several fire and rescue services
-
cut down on the duplication of effort in dealing with common problems
provide access to the expertise and experience of others.
Our CoP's are available for a range of command and support fire service comman specialisms. They are entirely confidential to their members who must have completed a Peter Stanley Training course to be eligible to take part.
